B's hat is too big.

Round Two Is A Go!!!

So round two of the crocheting business has gone much better.
I successfully made another beanie hat.
It did take me several attempts to get it right, but finally I got it.
Below you see a top view of B's new lovely hat!
And below here, a side view!
And below here a standing up side view, yes my beanies are so good that they can stand up all by themselves!!!!
And below is proof that my dear B's hat actually fits this time!
Pardon his lack of smile/attentiveness to the camera!
He is still cute nonetheless!
Thank you one and all for listening to my crocheting saga!
More to come I am sure.
B's last comment after thanking me:
"It is a bit loose, how do you make it tighter?"
I just can't seem to find that happy medium!
It will come in due time.
In other news:
I got and A and a B this semester!
Successfully getting my GPA high enough to apply to the RN program up here!
Woo Hoo!
And now, a story that I am still unaware of how I lived through it without laughing in this crazy ladies face!
So I was at work and the receptionist told me to go to a residents room to speak with her family.  Having dealt with this family in the past, I knew that I was in for a true treat.
I go up and find the family gathering some of her keepsakes and packing them away to take home with them.
She has recently been diagnosed with an ailment that once it hits full swing, she will not survive.  In the current moment she is fine and good though.
Anyway, the visitor takes me into the hallway and proceeds to speak to me about how she is arranging her loved ones funeral.
She tells me that she is going through the proper channels to get a permit to drive her loved ones dead body in their family van to her funeral.
The images I got in my head were not far off from 'Weekend at Bernies'.  I am simply not doing this story justice.
I guess you would have had to have been there.
All the while she is telling me about the money they will save going this route and all I could do was smile and nod and say the words "I bet".
Anyway lovely people, I will hear from you all soon I hope!
Much Love!

So Much To Say

So oh my gosh it has been FOREVER since I have blogged.
I honestly don't expect anyone to read this as I have been so bad at blogging, but it is truly quite funny for those who are still checking my blog.
Finals are done.
HOORRAAYYYYAAYYEYDYA!
I really only had one that I needed to study for, but it was a killer nonetheless.
I feel good about it, but that doesn't mean anything.
So since I am done with school for a while, I decided to pick up a new hobby.
Crocheting.
One of my residents gave me a beanie hat that she had crocheted and I thought 'Hey, I can do that'.
B loves the hat, so I figured, why not try to do it and make him some more hats.
So, I got some crochet hooks.
These are plastic hooks and they are very cheap.
I went with cheap stuff because I thought there is chance that I am gonna hate crocheting.
Why spend money on something I just might hate?
I also bought some yarn.  4 Skeins of it.
I bought a basic blue color to practice with and will used the multi-colored when I get better.
I was and am really excited about these multi-colored yarns because they are so stinkin' cute.
Anyway, I looked up some basics online and even watched a youtube video about how to crochet a beanie.
Here are my first few attempts:
There are some ladies at work that are very skilled at knitting/crocheting.
They told me to bring in what I had done and they would help me.
I showed them these three beauties.
We laughed and laughed and laughed.
They said that it looked like they might fit on the top of a penis.
I called Delaware later and told him my story and he told me to market them as 'Weanie-Beanies'.
I laughed and laughed and laughed.
The ladies at work told me it may be best to get a beginner book and some hooks that are not plastic.
so off to the craft store I went.
I bought this gem:
Oh yes there is a pattern in there for me to crochet a vest, and it is pretty sic. :)
In addition to the book I bought these aluminum hooks:
From there I learned basic stitches like the single crochet:
And the double crochet:
No it is not supposed to curve.
I did something wrong.
So I tried again:
And again:
And now I was tired.
The above picture is supposed to be a perfect square swatch.
I figured that since it was no longer curving that I would be okay to go on to the beanie hat pattern.
And here it is:
I was so thrilled.
As was B.  His favorite color is blue.
I just finished it last night.
As I was nearing the end of my final row, I told B it was just about ready to tie it off.
He was excited and teased:
"I can't wait to get it on my head."
I replied, "Me too!"
Here is how it fit:

We laughed and laughed and laughed.
I laughed so hard I was bawling.
Oh so funny.
I am gonna try again, but oh my gosh.
So darn funny.
In addition to crocheting, I finally decorated my house for Christmas.
Here is our tree:
It looks better in real life as it has all of B's old ornaments from when he was a kid on it.
I also decorated our table, something I have never really done.
And below is the rest of the decorations in the living room.
My Dad and Teach and my aunt have been so good to give me cute lil' Christmas bowls.
This year I put them all out and loaded them with candy.
It is quite nice to come home to a Christmas decorated house and the ability to eat a piece of candy of any sort from my cute little containers.
We mustn't forget the cutest lil' night light, also a gift from Dad:
This holiday season is fun so far, but still a little bit empty.
I am so used to hearing from Dad.
He and Teach are the ones that inspired me to fill all of my Christmas bowls with candy as that is what they always have had out at their house when we would get there for the holidays.
I love you all dearly and I hope that this blog entry put a smile to all of your faces.
If it didn't, lighten up!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Nothing

We are just boring people.
Look at my poor boring dog.
Just bored, bored, bored.
I believe we both have to work this weekend.
Work is going fine.
We hired the crank caller as he is a fabulous nurse.
Perhaps tomorrow there will be something interesting to blog about.
Probably not as I am just going to work and then picking up dog poo afterward.
That's all I have for you.

A Few Halloween Photos

So I do happen to have a couple of photos taken from Halloween night that I am able to post.
The first one is actually quite hilarious.
My neighbor Bero was dressed up as a pimp.
He bought a curly wig and a jogging suit and all kinds of pimp accessories.
As we waited to go to the party, he began to play with B's iphoto on his computer.
He and his wife Biker Chic took some pretty darn funny photos.
The one below is the one that I like the most.
It makes me laugh out loud every time I see it.
He reminds me of an overweight five-year-old child that likes to bully other kids.
Now I cannot remember if I told you all what B dressed as this year for Halloween.
He was dressed up as an old man.
I went to the D.I. and picked out some old man clothes.
We even were able to get a walker out of storage from my work so he had a prop.
He would not pose with the prop however.
People at the party that we went to thought that he was a real old man.
Everyone kept asking:
"Who brought the creepy old guy?"
That's no old guy, that's my baby!!!
He had so much fun!
We both did.
I was dying at how many people really thought that he was an elderly person.
As we walked up to the house for the party, B was haulin' with the walker.
That was perhaps the highlight of my night of seeing him in his costume.
He is so darn funny.
He makes me laugh almost everyday!
Well people, I can see my future, and the future is GOOD LOOKIN'!!!

I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW...

So I have promised pictures and failed to deliver!
You can kick me next time you see me!
The Halloween pictures are on our neighbors camera and they are too big to send via email, so we will have to wait a bit longer, Christmas perhaps!
I do need to take pictures of my house, B's truck, and my cute stinky dogs!
Here is the low down as of late:
B and I are playing online poker, which sounds kind of lame, but it is a blast.  We play with a lot of people that are all around the world and we get to make comments to the people that sit at the table with us and it is hilarious.
We just play with fake money and I am really an okay player, but man oh man, if I had real money I fear that B and I would be in a bit of a pickle.
I am pretty much certain that my day job is here to stay!
HORRAYYYYYEEEAAA!!!!
I think I went through quite a bit of a depression spell when I was switching my sleeping patterns so rapidly.  I fear that I annoyed some friends and family by going through this absolute funk.  To all of you I must say:
I'M SORRY!
And I am back to normal....for the most part!
I am thrilled that my little sis-in-law has started a blog.
I don't have a code name for her yet.
Hmmm.
Let's think of one.
How about....
Tatoo-mohawk-face-whom-I-haven't-seen-for-years-and-years.
What?
Too much?
I guess it is a bit excessive, even silly perhaps.
Okay, we'll just call her Razz for now, unless she requests a better name.
Beware Razz, for I will blog stalk you!
Also to update:
I took another test in pathophysiology and I feel as if I got in the 90% area!
Go Me!
I guess that is it for now!

Not Much

Hey, still no Halloween pictures and no truck pictures.
I swear I will do this.
Not too much going on these days.  I have finally let reality set in and accepted that my day job is back and it is not going anywhere for the next few weeks.
Or so I am told.
B has been forced to take more evening shifts at his work too so that his boss is not paying all of his managerial type employees to be in the store at the same time.
Makes sense I guess.
The economy is not even as bad as it has been in way long ago and it has already managed to kick my butt and tick me off.  I just need to remember that things could always be way worse.
I need to be happy for what I do have.
Anyway, not too much to say at the moment.
More creative posts are a comin' I swear it!

SIMPLY AMAZING!

First off Gordon says hello!
Just kidding.  I was trying to get both of the dogs to look in the camera and I had them both, but then the flash took too long and this is what was left.
Cute isn't he?
Attempt number 2 resulted in Arnold looking up, but Gordon looking elsewhere.
But there's the latest picture of my pups.
Taken just 20 minutes ago!
So yesterday, as we all know, I was having a helluva time getting a good amount of sleep.
Lately B and I have been talking and having my shifts flip-flop so often is just killin' me.  I have been both a little moody and a little depressed.
Don't get me wrong though, it is just the sleep issue alone that is killin' me.  I love the girls that I work in the wee hours of the night with.
The residents are hilarious at night.  It really isn't that bad of deal other than sleep regulation.
Anyway, B bought me flowers!
This larger vase of flowers (below) was left on the kitchen table.
When I finally wandered downstairs from our bedroom, I was greeted with these beauties!
The smaller vase of flowers (below) was left on the bathroom counter.
I found them first when I got up.
I thought of how sweet B was and immediately called him at work to thank him.
At the time of this conversation I was unaware of the fact that a larger vase of flowers was waiting for me downstairs in the kitchen.
I sure am a lucky lady!
So my last two NOC  shifts have been pretty darn funny.
On Monday into Tuesday one of the girls that I work with had her boyfriend crank call me.
It was absolutely hilarious.
The conversation went as such:
Telephone rings
Me:  Terrace Grove this is Trish.
Caller:  (male voice) Hi are you a nurse?
Me:  Yeah.
Caller:  Well I have a medical question.  I have been taking Cialis for my ED and it says to seek out medical attention if you have an erection that has lasted for more than 4 hours.  What should I do?
Me:  (laughing a little) Have you called your doctor?
(at this point I was unsure if the call was crank or not, so I laughed, but didn't want the person to feel bad)
Caller:  It's after hours.
Me:  Go to the ER.  They are open and they can help you.
Caller:  It is sort of embarrassing.
Me:  And it is not embarrassing talking with me?  Who is this?
Caller:  I'd rather not say.  Don't you think I could just ice it?
Me:  Yeah, go ahead and try that but go to the ER if it doesn't work.
Caller:  Okay.
Click.
I looked at the aide that witnessed the whole conversation and I just started to laugh and explain to her that I was crank called.
I tell her the story and she is just laughing.  Then she breaks down and tells me that it was her boyfriend that called.
I was dying.  He later brought us some meat-loaf, mashed potatoes, and steamed cauliflower.
We all ate at about 1:00 AM and laughed about his devious behavior.
He is a funny guy.
As the Monday into Tuesday NOC wore on I began to think of stupid things to do.
I took a roll of tape and taped off the latter half of our elevator just to see how the Day Shift would react.  The front half of the elevator was all that was seemingly usable.
We all carry walkie-talkies and I completely figured that people would just start to radio me questions about the elevator.
Nobody said a thing.
At 7:00 AM, the Day Shift nurse arrives.  She asked me what was wrong with the elevator.
I told her that I was just trying to illicit a reaction from staff, but there really was not reaction.
Just then the elevator dinged and it sounded full, so I knew the tape was removed.
I ran over to the elevator and was as serious as I could be.
In it were four residents, a new aide and a janitor with the tape all rolled up in his hand.
I looked at them and said:
"Who removed this tape in here?  The latter part of the elevator was taped off for a reason, why would you remove it and endanger the residents like that?"
The janitor and the aide looked stunned.
One of them finally spoke up and said:
"It was down when we got in here."
I just started laughing at that point.
The janitor called me a terd and threw the ball of tape at me.
It was pretty darn funny.
Last NOC the shift was normal.
No goofing off.
And today I slept for 7 hours!

So Why is it that....

Why is it that I can work a 10 hour shift in the night, come home, fall asleep at 10:00 AM and wake up at 1:30 PM and not be able to go back to sleep?
However, when I go to sleep at 10:00 PM I can sleep until 7:00 AM easily!
What gives?
I am tired and would like to go to sleep!
HMPFT!!!!

So B Bought a New Truck

B bought a Toyota Tundra.
It is a 2003.
It is quite nice.
I will post pictures of it soon.
And this totally counts as a post.
Mmmhmm.

HEY...

Did you know that if you watch my skeletons in my blog title window AND listen to the music on my blog at the same time that the skeletons will start to kick to the beat?!?
Hmm, pretty neat!
Better try it!
Just thought you may want to have something to do when bored.

I had a Great Date! B on the Other Hand...

Tonight B and I went out to dinner.  We went to a local restaurant called Callaways.
It is kind of cute lookin' and locally owned.  We have had takeout from there before and the takeout has been good.
Tonight I really did enjoy myself.  The patio area has windows up in it now that it is getting cold and has heating lamps.  The lighting was perfect, or so I thought.  My food was delicious.  We even got dessert, which we NEVER do.
B hated his experience.
His salad tasted dirty, his pasta sauce was thin, the breadsticks didn't have enough flavor to them, and the dessert was too expensive.
We got in the car and as we drove home B commented that he never wants to go there again.
They are overpriced, but how funny that two people can be in the same experience, and come away with totally different feelings.
Crazy how life works.

JUST LET IT BE KNOWN THAT....

ONE AND ALL MUST REALLY KNOW THAT I HAD THIS CUTE BLOG BACKGROUND BEFORE RAW CHICKEN DID!!!
Ha ha ha, just jokin' around Raw Chicken, I thought that this would be funny.
It's true too though!!!
;)

Oh Boy am I Sore!!

Holy Moly!!
B and I started a boot camp together.  We went on Tuesday night at 6:30 PM and Geeze Louise!
The boot camp thing is actually called Cross Fit Cache Valley.  There is a website that is crossfitcachevalley.com.  My goodness, this guy knows what he is doing.
As I said, B and I went on Tuesday.  We really should've gone again last night, but neither one of us could really move well, which is why we should have gone.
Either way, I went again today at 4:00 PM.  It was hard to actually convince myself to go.  All day long at work I kept on telling myself "Get ready, You're gonna do this, and You're gonna kick ass!"
Well, I went, I did it and I kicked ass.
While I was there, the main person in charge, the owner remembered my name and asked about B.  It almost feels like we have a personal trainer.
I told him that I was going to get B convinced to go with me at 6:30 PM tomorrow night.  We both need to get in shape.
I really feel like this is going to be great.
Tomorrow my going to the class means that I have to start to pay.  I am hoping to get B convinced to be paid for too.  Normally your first two classes are free but if B and I sign up together it is better pricing.
So I know that this post may have bored you to tears, but just wait till you see us at Christmas.  Hopefully I can get B to join, if not, just wait till you see me at Christmas!

What I DID do in Class Tonight

So I am in Pathophysiology and Sooooo Bored!

So I am in class tonight.  I brought my laptop because this class continues to drag on, and I knowing this thought, maybe I oughta blog instead of sit there in a stupor.
Now I look like I am engaged in the topic.  The professor thinks that I am a studious person as I sit with my laptop open and type up this stinkin' blog.
So a lot has happened.
B and I actually painted some walls in our living room!  Our whole house is not white anymore.
HOORRAAYYY!!!!
I would have posted a picture, but I didn't take any photos yet, and as you know, I am in class right now.
We also rearranged our furniture that only one family member has come up to see thus far.  And, we hung our TV on the wall.
We plan on painting more, but we have to have our taxes done by 10/15.  Yah, I know, we never did our taxes because of all the crap that was going on.  So we got an extension until 10/15 and of course, we waited until the last couple of days to do them.
I have cut and dyed my hair again.  I love it.  B doesn't like how much it cost, but every lady needs a day here and there in the beauty shop.
OH YEAH, I ALMOST FORGOT!
The idiot in charge at work tried to take all of my hours away.  I now will be going to graveyards on 10/20.  Not too excited about that, but I do what I have to do.
I don't quite understand all the crap that is happening this year, but I am still alive, just getting heavier.
So I am starting a boot camp workout program tomorrow.  I am trying to get B involved as well as the guy that is doing these classes focuses on core strength training and discusses diet control especially through the holidays.  It is expensive, but I know it will be worth it.
Since Dad died, I have gotten really good at being a lethargic slob and had a hard time getting a fire lit under my you-know-what.  So now I am the fattest I have ever been.
Not too much else is really going on.
I am sure that I have left some things out.
Perhaps I will post some pictures later of our newer living room, but I doubt it.  I would much rather have the company!

No Pictures, But a Post Nonetheless!

Things in Smithfield have been pretty darn normal as of late!  Not too much to write home to, but I thought of some things to update you with.  Biker Chic and I are still riding the canyon most nights, it is getting easier, which we NEVER thought would happen.
We are doing good though.
Recently our neighbors and I have started doing home cooked dinners together every Sunday.
Okay so we have only done it on the last two Sundays, but it is really filling a void that I have felt in my life for some time.
Growing up our family ALWAYS did Sunday dinners together.  When Mom was alive and healthy she ALWAYS threw a roast in the crock pot, which I hated and would only eat with a lot of ketchup and a lot of salt.
She would put carrots and potatoes in there too, and those veggies ALWAYS ended up tasting like the roast and therefore were never eaten by me.
I never realized how much I missed those bonding dinner nights.  Nor did I realize that they were bonding nights at all.
Until now.
Now that my neighbors, Bero and Biker Chic, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Toilet Paper (the people we papered in the blog a few below), are doing these Sunday night meals I find myself looking forward to Sunday nights.  We always have a lot of fun.
After we toilet papered Mr. and Mrs. Toilet Paper, they got the fever for papering someone as well.  Well, on the last Saturday that just passed, we T.P.'d again.  84 roles worth!
No camera this time, but we did a fantastic job.
The funniest thing about it was that we started at like 9:45 PM on a well-lit street.  We had to paper early because I had to be to work on Sunday by 5:00 AM.
Look out, we are on a rampage, you may be next....HAHAHAHA!
Well anyway, there still is not too much else to talk about.
Work is still work, but overall, life is great!

Soo, the Plant Died

So after Dad's funeral, we were all able to take some of the flowers/plants home with us.  I chose to keep the flowers that my work sent for me and I also chose a pretty plant in a basket.
I am unsure who sent it.  I just really liked it and I didn't want it to die I guess.
So B's Momma kept the basket plant at her house for a while.  When we left Provo after the funeral we had so much crap packed in our car I couldn't take the flowers or the plant with me.
B's Momma kept the plant alive and allowed the flowers to live with her until they died.
Either the last time or the time before when we were in Provo, B's Momma gave the plant to me to take home to Smithfield.
Sad to say, the plant is now dead.
I am not good with plants.
So I threw the plant out and salvaged the basket.  I thought maybe, perhaps, I could use the basket for something cute or for a gift for someone.
However, B apparently had the perfect idea for what this basket is good for.
I guess perhaps he thought I kept the basket for him and his use alone.
I came into the kitchen and died laughing when I saw what he had done.
That's may baby!

Still Juveniles at Heart!

So this last weekend my neighbors Bero and Peatree whose name I am actually changing to Biker Chic, we were all bored.
Our other neighbors whom I have not named yet and will later, were out of town.
So we toilet papered their condo.  It was hilarious.
Our condo buildings house four condos per building and theirs is one of the two in the middle.
We had a good time.
Below you see a bush that we papered.
Below here is their porch entrance to the door.
Doesn't that look like fun to bust through?
Below is just another image of the door entrance.
More bushes!
And below here we have a side view.
We had so much fun!
We went over to Bero and Biker Chics house and just waited in the dark of the room upstairs for them to come home.
There were several other cars that entered the parking lot and each time a car would come in we would all say "That's them! They're here!" and we would all get quiet and look out the window.
Finally when it really was our neighbors, they got out of the car and the first thing the neighbor boy said was "I'm gonna kill 'em."  It was hilarious.
They came over and we all just hung out for a while.
Awe! Such fun!!

Arnold the Dork!

Below is a picture of my dog's dishes and their food.
No, we did not intentionally miss the dishes.
No, the dog's don't normally prefer to eat the food straight off of the floor.
Yes, our dogs, well Arnold, is retarded.
For reasons that B and I are unsure of, Arnold has decided that before eating he must shove his nose in his food and shuffle it around.
He won't only do this to one dish of food, but to both of them.
In the picture above I feel he got a little carried away.
Below is some footage of Arnold being caught in the act!
Enjoy!

What a moron!!!

TODAY!

Today my baby wore sunblock.
It was a much better day for us all.
Mainly for B.

My day was pretty darn good too.  I had a good day at work.  The LPN students started their nursing clinicals today and I had a student.  She was very good.
It was interesting how much my bosses had to say about how valuable I am to them in front of a student and their teacher.

Hmmm, I never knew they even liked me!!

My text books for school came today.  They look like they're gonna be good reads.  In fact I believe they were recommended by Oprah.
Understanding Pathophysiology 4th Ed., and Short Story Writers 7th Ed.
I am not sure if the second one is actually titled so.

My neighbor and I have began to bike the Smithfield Canyon next to our neighborhood every night.  It is a tough feet.  Tonight we actually made it to the end.  My seat was even not placed very well, so my climb up the canyon was an absolute hellish ride, but I did it!

B rode with us tonight.  He kicked our A's all the way up.  He is a much more advanced biker and just overall stronger.  Poor B got a flat tire on our way back.  Luckily I had packed my cell phone in my under the saddle pack and we were able to call my neighbors husband.

I have not yet picked code names for my cute lil' neighbors.
Hmmm, let's see.
We shall name my girlie neighbor Peatree, as she had a praying mantis named Peatree in her bedroom when she was growing up that would eat all of the other gross bugs.  Sadly Peatree met an untimely and sad squashing death.  We can now keep Peatree alive through her.
Hmmm, now for her husband.
We shall name him Bero.  He saved B after his tire became flattened tonight, he is B's hero, hence Bero.
Our neighbors are absolutely fabulous people.  We are so glad to live next to them.
Well, I have an early morning so I really must get to bed.
Goodnight!!!

B Got a SunBurn, All I Got was a Dead Grasshopper!

So B's work is having a Labor Day/Tent Sale event.  Being a tent sale, it is outside.  Today was the first day of the tent sale.  B thought ahead and wore a hat.  B did not think ahead and did not wear sun block.
Now B has the best hat burn ever.  Below is the best picture I could take of the hat burn.
Arnold, the sweet lil' thing forced me to make the dogs get hair cuts.  Last saturday my two mutts were dropped of at Petsmart to correct the beard cut I had given Arnold.
We get raw hide chews for the dogs and they just love to demolish as much of them as they can in as little time as possible.
Well Arnold, who used to have a fantastic beard, chewed and chewed and chewed his rawhide and got a matt in his beard that got the bottom portion mixed into the top portion, thus inhibiting him from opening his mouth at full capacity.
So I being the brilliant dog owner that I am, had attempted to comb out the matts, however, I was very unsuccessful.  So finally, I was frustrated as was Arnold, so I got the scissors and cut them out.  Once I started I couldn't stop.  The matts just kept getting deeper and there were so many!
So I tried to even out his beard on the other side because he just looked silly.  By that time he just looked even more dumb.  So I called Petsmart to schedule their appointments and explained the issue to the pet groomer.
When we got to Petsmart the groomer asked which one was the one with the beard issue.  I replied "you tell me".  She looked at the dogs and just started to laugh.
Anyway, the groomer fixed Arnold and now he has no beard.  But he still looks cute!
He is just a little camera shy.
Having put a picture of Arnold in I had to post one of Gordon too.  As hard as it was to get a picture of Arnold alone, I couldn't seem to keep him out of the frame to get one of Gordon alone too.  Oh those dogs are so darn cute!!
So now to the dead grasshopper part of my title.
I had the day off today and when I have the day off I just try to do some house stuff, homework, workout, but most of all, play with the dogs.  Today we rough housed a little bit and then we spent some time outside.  I was just sitting on our back steps watching the dogs jump on the grasshoppers.  All the sudden Arnold had his nose to the ground and his butt in the air and his tail was just a waggin'.  He had successfully picked up a grasshopper in his mouth.
After having picked it up, chewed, and spitting it out a few times, he realized the grasshopper was dead.
He then gingerly walked over to me and tried to get me to take the grasshopper from him.  I absolutely hate grasshoppers and instructed him to take the thing back out into the yard.  He placed it on the grass as close to the cement as he could.  I was gonna take a picture and post it, but when I went back out the grasshopper was gone.
Perhaps he wasn't dead after all and just played dead while we were out there.
I dunno though.  That's my dog!
Below is just a cute pic of B and Gordon.  In the back is all the laundry I have yet to do!
Man oh Man.  Here we also can see more of our lovely furniture.  Don't ya wish you could see the whole thing?  Well, come on up!
So lately there really hasn't been too much to talk about.
I started school on Monday.  Ho hum.  Anyway, it will be an easy semester.  I am only enrolled in two courses.  One is Pathophysiology and that is every Monday night in Brigham City.  The other is an English course that I have to take in order to fulfill my Depth Arts Humanities requirement.  It is an online course and is seeming to be pretty darn easy.  I think it is just reading and answering questions in essay format.  No tests in that course.  My Patho class has a few tests but most are group tests.  Just the final and the mid-term are not group.  But that is okay.  I think I will do fine.

Work has been work.  I have the mother of all DON's (director of nursing).  She is a woman in her fifties I think and one of those people who talks just to talk.  She will act as though she is listening to you and then dismiss everything you may have said just to get her own agenda across.  Oh ya, and she wears nothing but white scrubs.  Every now and then she throw on a pair of maroon scrubs, but usually it is nothing but white.
I really shouldn't rip on her, but it is clear to me that she doesn't like me.  I made a suggestion to her the other day about beefing back up on our aides hours as we have cut them back due to not being at full capacity.  She snapped back "well if I could have looked into my crystal ball then I would have known not to have changed the CNA hours in the first place".  Meow meow.  That's the last suggestion that I will ever make.

The latest and greatest:  IT WAS B'S BIRTHDAY!!!
I got him some tools, that he had to pick out cause I have no idea.  I also got him an outfit that he actually likes, I think, at least he hasn't taken it back yet.  I also got him a new office chair.  Hopefully this new chair will support his back better so he can get more office stuff done.
On the day of his birthday we went to a movie call Pineapple Express.  It is a pretty funny movie.  It is not for everybody though.  We sure enjoyed it.
My baby turned 29 years old.  I sure do love him.
