I have been having a lot of fun lately doing my little crochet things.
Below is a hat that I crocheted and sent to my niece Tink. I told Raw that I want to see some photos of her in it, but alas, Raw must be deaf! Just kiddn'. She is just a busy momma!
Below here is my first hat and scarf set that I have ever made, and it was a hit! Right as I was finishing it, one of my good friends came over and said that she thought it was cute. It looked way cute on her, and after I sewed the flower on the hat, I brought the set over to her and gave it to her.
Below is a picture of just the scarf.
I LOVE how it turned out!
Below here is an up close photo of the hat with the flower.
The next three photos are just close ups of the flowers on the scarf.
The one below is the large flower.
And the small flower.
Tonight, I have been working on these little headbands. I am going to send them to Raw so she can either post them on her site, or sell them at her craft fair (that B and I may be going to Boise for... if we can!!!).
The bands are about an inch and a half in width, and I think they will look so cute! I am so excited with how they are turning out.
I have other colors to get making, and I am gonna get crack-a-lackin' on some more tonight!
Below is a picture of one of the pumpkins on my front porch.
And again, another pumpkin on my porch.
And here they are together, momma and baby!
I had never seen pumpkins this shape, so when I saw them I bought them. I think they are neat.
In my kitchen I have too halloween decorations that my step mom sent to me. They are cute.
In other news, B is so sick. He has a vicious head cold. Today while I was at work he took his temperature and had a fever of a hundred AND three (hot blooded... what a good song). But really, he was at 102.5 degrees. He didn't go to Instacare. He just waited for me to call him after work and asked for some popsicles. His fever is now 99.8. Poor baby.
I hope I don't catch his disgusting, perverted cold!
I have to work again tomorrow, hence my night will be spent doing mundane things like making cute head bands, I may go and jog, but I am not going to a super fun party that our neighbors invited us to :( so sad.
At any rate, that is the latest!
Love to you all!

This weekend was a lot of fun, and a lot of down time. I absolutely adore our friends, and I was so excited when we all decided to have a movie marathon this weekend to get us ready for a new and up-coming sequel to only the best gory, halloween, clever films EVER!!!
First, of course, we bought a lot of snacks. Though I did not take an actual photo of the things we consumed, it looked something like this:
Then we spent a lot of time with this guy:
Here he is in action on his hot rod!
This is a creepy little puppet that makes a debut in all of the... yep, you guessed it, Saw movies.
We started off with Saw I...
And gradually worked our way to Saw II...
Then on to Saw III...
This of course was followed by Saw IV...
Before the next gem, Saw V, we stopped for a spaghetti dinner.
Now we are all prepared to see Saw 6 in theaters on 10/23. We are all so darned excited.
Okay, so maybe these movies aren't for everyone, but we all had a great time watching them and getting fat.
It really was a pretty perfect weekend!
I hope that you all had a great one as well!

It has been a pretty good day. Work was good and busy... and kind of funny.
But now I am home. I have got my own things that I do, and lately, I have got my B things to do.
B is very busy with work and his other classes. As a result he has fallen behind a wee bit with some homework. About three weeks ago, he asked me to help him out. By 'help' he meant 'do some of his assignments'. Well I love my baby, so here I am doing some of his assignments.
He is in a class that is online and I have taken it too, so I have done one of his assignments and then I found that he needs to have an entire book read and a paper done for it by Monday the 12th.
This is the book:
Lucky for him and me it is pretty good. I have been reading it when I get off of work and while I am walking on my treadmill at an incline. Reading while doing this makes the treadmill time fly by so fast... I think I will always read and incline walk, because if I don't, I get 4 minutes into my walk and want to quit.
I am now finished with my walk, and checking/updating my blog (as a break). I plan on finishing chapter four while having a new favorite spooky show "Ghost Lab" on in the back ground. Shown below:
I have tried watching some of these spooky shows in the summer months, and they scared the crap out of me. Now that it is October, I feel it would be a crime to not embrace the spooky and watch this stuff all month!
At any rate, here I am in Smithfield, another day of work done, an inclined workout done, watching a spooky show, and doing my baby's homework.
I sure am a sucker for him... what a guy! Still crazy for him after almost 9 years!

I call my sister Raw Chicken on my blog. Well there is something that she has done that I think you all should know about.
She is very creative and has started a business.
If you have daughter, your daughter will be so happy to get products from:
I will also be keeping this site on my side bar as 'Cute Happy Heads' so you can all link to it at any time! Right now the site offers bows, but pretty soon, I may be throwing some of my crocheted hats her way for sale. So there may be items available for your sons, or heck, all family members!
Again, all of the items for sale are hand made and extremely cute!

Hooray! It is a day to celebrate. My halloween blanket is done!
It took forever, okay, it didn't.
I just didn't work on it all that consistently so it feels like forever!
Below is a picture of it on my bed.
Below is a more up-close picture so you can see the appliques better.
I am supposed to buy fabric paint and give the bats' eyes, the pumpkins' faces, and the cats' faces. I am not gonna do that.
How fun it was to do though!
B and I and our friends went and saw the movie 'Zombieland' last night. It was pretty funny, and a little bit scary. I scare easy though.
Over the weekend I worked so the movie was the highlight of the weekend for me.
Anyway, my previous blog about the comments was a joke, I can't help but feel some people took me seriously... so to all of you serious people... LIGHTEN UP!!!!
Hope you all are having a good time!
